Rocky Point, MX Regenerative Therapy FAQ

Answers to the questions that come up most often about treatment, cost, travel and getting started.

About treatment

Regenerative therapy uses non-surgical injections to support the body’s own healing process in a painful joint, tendon or ligament. The goal is less pain and better movement without surgery.

We focus on joint, back and soft tissue pain: knee, hip, shoulder, back and neck pain, elbow, wrist, ankle and foot pain, tendon and ligament injuries, and sports injuries. We also offer PRP for thinning hair and skin, and a gut health program. See the Other Conditions page for the full list.

No. Treatment tends to work best for mild to moderate joint wear and soft tissue injuries. During your free consultation we review your history and tell you honestly whether we think we can help.

Most patients feel pressure and mild discomfort during the injection. Soreness for a day or two is common.

Most patients return to normal daily activity the same day. Your physician may ask you to avoid hard exercise for a short time.

It varies. Many patients notice changes over several weeks. Some need more than one session. Results are not guaranteed.

For some patients, regenerative treatment delays or avoids surgery. For others, surgery is still the right choice. Your physician will talk through your options.

Our clinic is in Mexico and operates under Mexican health regulations. Some regenerative treatments are not FDA-approved in the U.S. Your physician will explain the treatment you receive and the evidence behind it.
